My name is Annette Sophie Eberhardt, I am 58 years old. The start of my life was drastic when I was separated from my biological mother in a divorce at the age of two. I grew up with my father with my grandparents, and later with my bonus mom.

As an adult, I was reunited with my mother and looked after her for the last four years of her life before she died of illness last year.

Travel and life experience

My life has been shaped by experiences from traveling around the world. I have lived in Spain and the US, and met interesting people along the way, but my travels have also brought challenges, sadness, and major changes.

Families

I have three grown children aged 23, 27, and 28. I have been married twice, one of which was to a narcissistic father and spouse.
Breaking free required many years of healing, acceptance, and forgiveness. Life did not give me a choice, so when I finally left, I was left with a fragile economy, lost many relationships, and was left without a home or job while I had to figure out my next step.

Starting from scratch

Visualization became my focus. I imagined myself on the other side, went into my local church, and prayed to the universe. The very next day, a former acquaintance, a headhunter, called and asked if I was in the market for a job. Two days later, I had a job as an executive assistant to a female CEO in an American sales company.
Now I could create a secure base for my family, and the rebuilding could begin. It took focus and willpower, but the children and I have come through it well—with our feet firmly planted on the ground, self-insight, and many dreams for life, some of which have come true, while others still await us on the horizon.

My life today

Today, I'm in my seventh year living with my partner and our little dog just outside Copenhagen.

As a single mother responsible for my children's well-being, I have gained experience and trained as a life coach with the highest level of quality in the industry through my personal journey. I want to use my knowledge to help others when the storm hits. That's why I created MindRise.dk.
